Not usually. The server is staged and tested in parallel, and anything that touches live systems is scheduled after hours or at weekends.
We first check depth, power and airflow. Often a tidy-up frees space; if not, we propose the smallest change that makes room safely.
Yes. We install and configure servers from any reputable supplier, as long as the hardware is genuine and suitable for the role.
It is a separate management chip (iDRAC, iLO or XClarity) that lets engineers power-cycle and diagnose a server remotely, even when the operating system is down. We configure it on every install.
Yes. We register the warranty with the vendor, record the service tags and include renewal dates in the handover pack.
Each build runs a stress test for memory, disks and CPU, plus a power-supply failover test. You receive the results with the handover document.
Yes. We follow your naming, IP and security standards, or create a simple standard if none exists.
Yes. We clear packaging on the day and can arrange removal of decommissioned hardware after data has been securely wiped.
